Villa Ulivi is a beautiful florentine mansion that combines town and country-side as well as ancient and modern. Although it is located in the immediate outskirts of Florence historical centre, Villa Ulivi faces a large park surrounded by vineyards and olive-grounds. Villa Ulivi, dating back to the fifteenth century, offers its guests all chances and comforts of the modern age. Villa Ulivi is located in a garden planted with roses and lavender, at the end of a shady horse-chestnuts drive. Large and elegant rooms, enlightened by the tuscan sun and open onto the gardens of the Villa, have been added in the course of the last two centuries to the fascinating ancient wine-cellars and horse-stables. From the main terrace guests can easily enjoy the view of Florence and of its incomparable, unspoiled country-side. Furnishings have been chosen, with an eclectic taste, both among tuscan pieces of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries and from the most heterogeneous styles, creating an atmosphere that is, at the same time, classical and particular. The centre of Florence and "Santa Maria Novella" Railway Station are reachable in less than ten minutes by bus or by car. "Amerigo Vespucci" Airport is reachable in about 20 minutes by bus or by car. A prestigious golf course is located about 10 kilometers away from Villa Ulivi. Some tennis courts, a riding-ground and a swimming-pool are located in the neighborhood of Villa Ulivi.
